Dr. Xclusive, a.k.a. The Mad Scientist, known to the Colorado nightlife as DJ BIG SPADE who’s one of the Hottest DJ’s in the West Coast and no stranger to the wheels of steel. Spade has worked with people from all over the country and has even been blessed to share booths with some legendary DJ’s like Kid Capri (2008, 2010), Dj Drama (2008), Biz Markie (2005), Dj Enuff (2005), Snoop Dogg’s Dj Dj Jam (2004), Ludacris’s dj Dj JayCee (2006), Dj Whoo Kid (2006), Monie Love (2008, Las Vegas), Dj Green Lantern (2005), and Jazzy Jeff (2008).
Violator Dj, Dj Big Spade has also been booked for major events and shared the stages as an opening dj for major concerts headlining celebrities such as Snoop Dog (2008), T.I. (2005, 2008), Red Man (2009), Rad Digga (2009), Wu-Tang Clan (1996, 1998, 2008), The Game (2009), The Clipse (2007), Slick Rick (2007), Outkast (2000), Naughty By Nature (1999), dj for Mike Jones (2009), Damion Marley (2009), Nas (2009), Talib Kweli (2009), Slim from 112 (2009), Bobby Valentino (2006), Day 26 (2009), De La Soul (2007), Gang Starr/Guru (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010) and plenty more!
Working some of the biggest and most star-studded events in Colorado, Las Vegas, New York, & California, as well as performing live at the infamous “Tunnel” Nightclub in New York City (1997 for the Roc-A-Fella Streets Dreams showcase), Spade has kept his name in the wind and added with so many other credentials’ to resume along the way.
Along with celebrity events and major concert promoters, Dr. Xclusive (Dj Big Spade’s nickname) has aligned his self up with major events corresponding with radios stations such as KQKS 107.5 FM, 101.5FM, and as of fall of 2010 Dj Big Spade is currently active with California’s Rhythm 105.9 FM.
Even with all the hype Spade maintains a sense of humbleness, and loyalty to his family, and the craft he loves. Talking with excitement about how he gravitated to the turntables. Spade’s Uncle back in Hollis Queens, NY, was DJ Charles Fuller, with Fuller Funk Productions & Uncle (in-law relative) Dj Rod (Rodrick Jefferson, Altus) in 1989, when Spade began got his first taste of the ones and two’s. You can say, dj’ing runs in the family.
